Meet Our Team
We share a passion for dentistry and a goal of ensuring you receive the best care possible.
Dr. Justin Kerr, B.Sc., DDS
I decided early in life I wanted to be a dentist. In my school years, I had a strong interest in sciences, but more than that I loved being around people. Helping people always brought me a sense of purpose and I continue to implement that into my daily life.
I followed my passions, and in 1993, I graduated with a Bachelor of Science from Brigham Young University and my Doctor of Dental Surgery from the University of Alberta in 1998. I have been practicing dentistry for more than 23 years and that passion continues to grow.
My love for dentistry, admittedly, is not as strong as the love I have for my three, now adult, sons. Whenever I can convince them to hang with their “old man”, I do. I have coached and been active in sports with them through their youth and that coaching has continued at a community level volunteering for Cochrane High and Springbank Minor Soccer.
Serving my community in these ways and supporting other local businesses is extremely important to me. I love Cochrane and have been fortunate to call it home for many years now.Having the Rockies in our backyard is something I enjoy and take advantage of regularly. Hiking, camping, paddle boarding, and being out in nature is a huge part of my life and offers me exciting ways to keep active.
I continually dedicate myself to advancing my skills and my practice to help you achieve the dental health you deserve. Ensuring each patient feels heard, respected and never leaves our clinic with unanswered questions is my goal.
I treat my patients as I would my own family. Along with the help of the most incredible team, I strive to provide exceptional dentistry in an atmosphere that is welcoming, relaxed and enjoyable.
I often tell my patients “you’re in charge today”. I want you to feel in control of your treatment choices and as your dentist, it’s my goal and responsibility to provide you with all the information and proper guidance to ensure you make the best decisions toward your oral health. That’s what I want for you and something I believe everyone deserves.

Dr. Amanda (Mandy) Flory, B.Sc., DDS
Dr. Mandy Flory grew up in Airdrie, AB and obtained her Bachelor’s Degree in Honours Chemistry from the University of Calgary. Always knowing she wanted to be a part of the healthcare field, she soon found her passion in dentistry.
Dr. Flory continued her studies, completing her Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) program at the University of Alberta.
She currently lives in Calgary with her husband and two ‘fur babies’, Simba and Nala. Dr. Flory has a strong love for the outdoors and living a balanced lifestyle. When she’s not in the office, you will most likely find her in the mountains – skiing in the winter months and hiking/biking in the summer. Dr. Flory and her husband are also avid travellers; their most favourite vacation memory is surfing in the Philippines.
One of Dr. Flory’s many areas of interest in dentistry is giving back to communities by promoting access to care and oral health. She participated in a dental mission trip to Peru and is looking forward to volunteering again in the future. Dr. Flory is also passionate about preventative care and patient education. Building personal relationships with each and every one of her patients is something she highly values.
Administrative Team
Jennifer W.
Keeping us all on track is Jenn, our office Manager and Dental Assistant. Detailed, organized and on top of it all, she keeps our office running smooth like butter.
In 2016 Jennifer graduated from SAIT in Calgary, as a Registered Dental Assistant. Truth be told, she still gets nervous in the dental chair herself, so can easily empathize with anxious patients. Her detailed oriented nature is balanced with a kind heart. She is mom to two beautiful twins, she's a great cook and loves canoeing.

Cara
Cara is the sweetest person, period. She is happy, always willing to help and continually wanting to learn.
Her genuine care for people makes her a perfect addition to our Administrative team. In the summer, Cara loves to hike and camp. In the winter, she loves skiing, curling, and cozying up with a hot cocoa to enjoy an episode of Downtown Abbey.
Cara also holds the title of ‘most moves in a lifetime’. She is finally settled in Cochrane with her husband and children after having moved 22 times throughout her life already!

Jill
Friendly, motivated and dedicated to all that she does, is our Administrative assistant, Jill. Originally from Banff, Jill grew up in the mountains and developed a strong passion for the outdoors. Not only does she love horseback riding, hiking, biking and kayaking, she also is a former figure skating coach and past competitive figure skater!
Jill has a natural ability to connect with people from all walks of life. Her 10 years of experience in Administrative work has furthered this skill. She is dedicated to ensuring our patients receive exceptional customer service and is ready to greet you with a smile!

SHERRY
Gentle, quiet and ready to help, Sherry is our one of our smiling administration staff. She has been in dental administration for several years. She loves meeting new people and admin work speaks to her love for organization! When she’s not working, Sherry loves to grab her camera, get in her car and drive! Her favourite thing is to photograph wild horses in the area. She loves to spend time with her three kids and her dog.

Ali
Artistic, creative, and winner of the most huggable person award, Ali fits our role as social media/event coordinator perfectly.
Ali graduated from the Ontario College of Art & Design in Toronto in 2004 and has since worked as a professional artist. She is the owner of local printing business King Canvas and is also a loving mother to two beautiful boys. We love the creativity she brings to the clinic and to our online presence.
Music, film, fine art,—if it’s artistic, Ali loves it. She loves being out in nature with her boys hiking and skiing. She is open minded and loves to learn, but that eagerness left her with an elbow full of stitches after attempting a ‘manual’ on her son’s scooter!

Dental Hygienists
Lori
Overhearing dry humour around the clinic? Yep, that’s Lori. Sharp as a tack, full of knowledge, and as thorough as they come, Lori cares for her patients and loves educating them on how best to care for their teeth.
Lori started her dental career as a dental therapist and returned to school to study dental hygiene over 25 years ago. She has enjoyed volunteering as a hygienist in several third world countries with Kindness in Action.
Having grown up on a farm in rural Saskatchewan, Lori is known as our “farm girl”. She loves to kayak, travel with her family, and throws a killer staff party.

Courtney
No one giggles, smiles from ear to ear, or is quite as easygoing as Courtney. She is a gentle soul with a sweet nature.
Courtney graduated from the Vancouver College of Dental Hygiene in 2017 and went on to start her career in her hometown of Medicine Hat. She moved to Cochrane in the fall of 2018 and has been an amazing addition to our team ever since.
While most kids dream of becoming superheroes and rockstars, Courtney knew she wanted to be a Dental Hygienist since elementary school. She has always loved going to the dentist and it is through that positive experience she strives to help patients become more comfortable in a dental setting. She is great with anxious patients and works to help them overcome their fears. When Courtney’s not working she loves decorating, crafts and long walks.

Renee
Renee is one of our amazing dental hygienists. While she considers herself pretty quiet, calm and introverted, she also loves adventure, travel and learning about different cultures. Travel has been a huge part of Renee’s life and shaped who she is. She has been fortunate to explore all over Europe, Southeast Asia, Singapore, Bali, Australia, the Caribbean as well as all many areas of the USA including Hawaii.
Renee graduated with her Bachelor's degree in Dental Hygiene from the University of Alberta in 2006. Since then, she has worked in Edmonton, Calgary and Lloydminster before settling with her family in Cochrane.
She is extremely thorough and meticulous and this come across in her work as a Dental Hygienist. Her favourite thing is the moment when she sees patients excited about the improvements in their oral health.

AMY
We call her the "Veteran". Even after 30 years as a dental hygienist, Amy's passion for helping patients achieve their best smile still holds strong.
Dentistry has always been a part of Amy’s life, having a father as a dentist. In her high school years working at his clinic is where she developed an interest that led her to study dental hygiene at the University of Alberta. She graduated there in 1992 and has been working as a hygienist ever since.
Amy is a country girl and a bike lover. Road bikes, mountain bikes, dirt bikes, street bikes — she enjoys them all. Her energetic spirit and zest for life help her keep up to speed with her three grown children who love to take her hiking when she’s not at work. Amy seems to make friends wherever she goes — we love her fun personality around the clinic, that’s for sure!

Marianne
A lover of snowboarding, chocolate and a good coffee, Marianne fills the office with her gentle kindness. Raised in BC, she enjoys being out in nature.
Marianne graduated with her Dental Hygiene Diploma in 2007 from the College of New Caledonia in Prince George, BC. Educating patients on how to improve their oral health is what she finds most rewarding about her career. She moved to Cochrane, with her husband and two beautiful children, three years ago and has been enjoying our community and the mountains since.

Dental Assistants
Lynsey
Whenever anyone needs their mood picked up, Lynsey is the one to help it happen! She is full of life, bubbly and energetic. Lynsey has a way of making patients feel at ease and helps create a fun atmosphere at the clinic.
Lynsey graduated as a Dental Assistant in 2004, followed by her Ortho module from Columbia College. Lynsey has a warm and sensitive nature which helps patients feel safe and comfortable while in the dental chair.
Spending time with her husband and four children is what she loves best. They fill their time together going to the movies and enjoying the outdoors.

Jennifer P
Jennifer is better known around the clinic as the ‘Pinterest Queen’ and/or “Tim Hortons Addict’’ (Sour cream glazed doughnuts and an Ice Cap = her breakfast of champions).
Jennifer graduated from KDM Dental College in Calgary as a Registered Dental Assistant in 2010. Always smiling, she loves sharing stories with patients and says some of her best conversations happen at work. If you need a crown, she’ll be there! Crown preparation work is her favourite! Outside of work she loves crafts, home decor and spending time with her family.

KIM
If you’re in need of a sticky note or any other organizational item— ask our dental assistant, Kim! Known around the clinic for being extremely organized, she also has a great sense of humour which helps ease anxious patients in the dental chair.
Kim was raised in a small farming community in Northern Alberta. She attended KDM College where she graduated as a dental assistant over 16 years ago. Nothing makes her happier than seeing her patients feel confident in their oral health and she finds this the most rewarding part of her job.
Kim now resides in Cochrane with her husband and three beautiful children. When she's not at work she loves to spend her time with her family, crocheting and getting lost in true crime novels.

KARRIE
Easy going, always smiling and up for a good time no matter what, is our dental assistant, Karrie.
Karrie graduated in 1999 from Camosun College in Victoria, BC as a Registered Dental Assistant. She's worked in NYC and New Jersey and was trained in Las Vegas to practice LVI Neuromuscular Dentistry. She also worked in a Prosthodontic office in Calgary for 10 years. So, to say she has been around dentistry for much of her life is on point!
Karrie is a "hockey mom" to two beautiful children. She used to figure skate and coach figure skating for years. Now, she lives on a ranch west of Cochrane with her family.
When she's not helping making your smile shine, you can find her paddle boarding, skating, and hanging with friends and family.

ERIN
Easy-going, calm and creative, is our dental assistant Erin. With both of her parents working as physicians and an uncle who is a dentist, healthcare runs in her family. She grew up knowing she wanted to follow suit.
Erin graduated the Dental Assisting program at SAIT with honours. Having completed that right out of high school, she is only 19yrs old and already working in the field! She loves providing care and socializing with her patients, but also loves the fast pace and organization that is necessary assisting in a dental clinic.
Not only does Erin love to be creative at work with crown preps and hands-on work, she loves it at home too, spending a lot of time painting and drawing. She also loves volleyball, hiking, travel and hanging out with her family and friends.
